This humidifier maintains comfortable air humidity in rooms up to 50m², and ensures a healthy atmosphere at home or in the office.

The appliance works on the self-regulating evaporation principle, and so it needs no additional control systems. It is also very econimical to run as unlike steam humidifiers, the water doesn't need to be boiled - it simply evaporates.

This type of unit is ideal for protecting your musical instruments from becoming out of tune as it maintains a constant atmospheric humidity level without rapid fluctuations.

Two water tanks on either side of the unit are detachable and can be easily filled up directly from the tap in even the smallest sinks due to their clever design.

If desired, the fragrance capsule can be filled with essential oils to add a pleasant fragrance to the air.

In order to reduce the frequency with which you have to replace the filter cartridges in this humidifier we recommend the use of an Ionic Silver Stick (not included). How Does it Work?

A special evaporator pad soaks up water. A fan sucks the dry room air through the wet mat and returns it to the room, optimally humidified.

During the humidification process, the air is also washed, in other words, some dust and dirt particles are removed.

Depending on its temperature, air can only absorb a certain amount of water. The process of evaporation thus provides self-regulating humidification, and as a result, additional control systems are not necessary.

Evaporators require very little power. The energy used during evaporation comes from the air itself. To ensure optimal performance from the appliance, the evaporator pad should be replaced once or twice per season.

CalcOff Limescale Remover for Humidifiers

Simply add a sachet of CalcOff to one litre of water and pour it into your empty humidifier and in half an hour it will have dissolved all the limescale that builds-up during normal operation.

Each box contains three sachets.

Before cleaning all evaporator mats, demineralisation cartridges and Ionic Silver Sticks should be removed. The powder from one sachet should be stirred into one litre of hot water. The liquid should then be added to the water tank and allowed to take effect for 30 minutes. After the limescale has been disolved, the humidifier should be thoroughly rinsed out.

Silver ions are effective against more than 650 types of microbe. Fitting an Ionic Silver Stick to your water tank in your humidifier can help control the development of bacteria and fungi, reducing unpleasant odours and the frequency of cleaning. Designed for portable and mobile evaporative humidifiers with water tanks, these sticks contain no chemical additives, are self-regulating, need no power supply and are simple to install and use.

For guidance, for a humidifier with a fresh mains water supply operating in a clean, cool environment, one stick is effective in humidifier reservoirs up to 10 litres. Multiple sticks can be used in larger appliances, so if your humidifier has a 20 litre reservoir, use two. More sticks might be required where conditions favour the development of microbes such as warmth. Ionic Silver Sticks must be used in conjunction with the humidifier manufacturer's operating and maintenance instructions.
