Boneco 2031 Vapouriser - Steam Humidifier
A compact humidifier that can also be used as an inhaler.

A compact humidifier, ideal for areas up to 50m², or as an inhaler, this unit is easy to fill and features an essential oil diffuser.

This advanced little unit provides absolutely hygienic air humidification by steam vapourisation. New "Safeheat" resistive elements are submerged in the water heating the water within the middle of the unit to 100 degrees C turning it to steam. The high temperature eliminates the possibility of bacterial contamination of the moisture released and the elements are teflon coated to resist limescale build-up.

The unit has an on / off switch and two LED indicators to display its operation. It will automatically shut off when the water level is low and the "Tank empty" LED will light up.

An large slide opening on the top makes refilling very simple and a float level lets you know exactly how much water is remaining in the 5.5 litre water tank.

A fragrance cup in the centre of the humidifier allows essential oils to be heated and evaporated into a room.

The use of steam humidifiers has a pleasant effect on the atmosphere within a room, particularly in the winter, as the steam warms the air. They also help to alleviate the stidor and coughing associated with respiratory illnesses such as croup. A healthy level of humidity will also help thin mucus so it may be coughed up more easily helping to relieve respiratory symptoms of cystic fibrosis.

To control the level of humidity we strongly recommend this unit is used in conjunction with a Humidistat. This will turn the unit off once a preset humidity is reached, regulating the output of the unit and ensuring you do not over-humidify a room.

Plug your humidifier or dehumidifier into this humidistat and it will regulate the Boneco 2031 output to your preset level.

There are two operating modes, a de-humidify or humidify mode depending on the unit. In each mode you can preset your required humidity level in the range of 10% - 90%rH making the running of your unit much more efficient as your humidifier or dehumidifier will not operate when it isn't required - saving you money and giving you better unit environmental control.

Once the humidity level reaches the set point the humidistat will turn off the humidifier or dehumidifer. Then once humidity falls below the set point the unit will turn back on again to adjust the atmosphere accordingly.

For the best indoor air quality in the home set your humidistat to between 40-60%rH. You can then be sure that you will be achieving the right humidity level you need.

CalcOff Limescale Remover for Humidifiers

Simply add a sachet of CalcOff to one litre of water and pour it into your empty Boneco 2031 humidifier and in half an hour it will have dissolved all the limescale that builds-up during normal operation.

Each box contains three sachets.

Before cleaning all evaporator mats, demineralisation cartridges and Ionic Silver Sticks should be removed. The powder from one sachet should be stirred into one litre of hot water. The liquid should then be added to the water tank and allowed to take effect for 30 minutes. After the limescale has been disolved, the humidifier should be thoroughly rinsed out.
